David Pistoni – Hyperloop
El passat 22 de març, l’antic alumne de Gregori Mayans David Pistoni va estar al nostre Centre per tal d’exposar als alumnes de batxiller el projecte HYPERLOOP.
David Pistoni pertany a un equip de cinc estudiants de la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) acaba de guanyar el concurs de disseny de l’Hyperloop, un revolucionari tren supersònic impulsat per l’empresa SpaceX del visionari Elon Musk i que és previst que es desplaci a 1.100 km/h gràcies a la levitació magnètica. El projecte de Makers UPV s’ha imposat a un centenar més de propostes presentades a la SpaceX’s Hyperloop Pod Competition Design Weekend de Texas (EUA).
En el concurs, que ha aplegat més de mil participants d’universitats de tot el món, Ángel Benedicto, Daniel Orient, David Pistoni, Germán Torres i Juan Vicén, ajudats pel professor Vicente Dolz, han guanyat el primer premi absolut en la categoria de disseny de concepte. A més, dels nou guardons integrats en la categoria de subsistemes, Makers UPV ha aconseguit també d’imposar-se en el premi de millor subsistema de propulsió.
